Anyone recommend any good books with FT content. I know there's always people i can ask for advice or that will give it freely (we know who thay may be ;-)). But i don't want to take Holly away with me when working so a book may be a good substitute.

There are no books on FT . all those who know it , do it . you can learn the basics in 4 sundays in the spring / summer . i cannot remember what you shoot Jon ? rifle scope . first off what can you afford , dictates what you can buy . then can you get it serviced fairly easily . the steyr is a good choice in that respect . cos it is modular and various bits can be sent off . scope wise . the falcon X is my choice . hampsters . rowan . BUT it all depends on the cash available . a good large bean bag from kilty . on STB . maybe a shooting jacket . waterproofs . boots . the rest is practice . that practice must be done with and against others to get used to pressure . that is often the killer . kneelers and standers must be mastered , but it all starts with the first step . it is all down to you . Ask Barry for Holly's book of excuses on missing, i've just finished it, passing it back to Barry. good read with down to earth reasons for missing and a few far fetched ones, Time to read it, think of War And Peace and multiply it by 4.
My dear boy , why would you want a book when you have a fourum ? if nick jenkinson wrote a book , yes i would buy it anybody else . noway hosay . ask away . ??? HOLLY
